That is a genuine cardiovascular benefit — and a practical hazard for anyone already taking blood pressure medication, because the dose was calculated for a body that no longer exists.
Symptomatic low blood pressure on GLP-1 therapy usually presents as lightheadedness when standing, unusual fatigue, or a foggy feeling that patients often attribute to the medication itself. Without home readings there is no way to distinguish that from ordinary GLP-1 side effects, and the appointment where it might be caught may be months away. How to Take a Reading That Is Actually Usable
Sit for five minutes first, feet flat, back supported, arm resting at heart height. Do not measure within 30 minutes of caffeine, nicotine or exercise. Take two readings a minute apart and record the average, twice a day, for at least seven days before drawing any conclusion from the numbers.
